Return & Exchange Policy

1. Eligibility Requirements

  • Quality Issues: Defects (e.g., warped wooden shelves, broken metal brackets, cracked plastic panels) require clear photos/videos for verification.
  • Wrong Items: Provide order screenshots and product comparisons to confirm incorrect sizes/styles.

2. Process Steps

  1. Request: Email uptempo-41.cobbles@icloud.com with your order number, bookcase type, reason for return/exchange, and supporting proof.
  2. Approval: We respond within 2 business days. Approved requests receive a return address (our London hub: Flat 21 Hera Court, Homer Drive, London, England, E14 3UJ, or nearby warehouse) and a unique return ID (must be marked on the package).
  3. Ship Back: Send items within 7 days. Use reinforced packaging for metal/wooden parts to avoid transit damage.
  4. Finalization: We inspect returns in 3-5 days. Eligible exchanges ship within 48 hours; refunds process in 3-5 business days.

3. Fee Details

  • Quality/Wrong Items: We cover round-trip shipping (reimburse up to £20 / $25 via logistics receipt).
  • Personal Reasons: You pay return shipping + a 6% restocking fee (based on the bookcase’s original price).
  • Ineligible Items: Assembled, damaged-by-user, or missing parts (e.g., screws) are refused—you bear return shipping costs.
